Code of Ethics
Our Code of Ethics is the bedrock of our commitment to upholding high ethical standards in our operations and relations with our stakeholders. We adhere to strict legal and ethical standards that transcend local and international law, including opposition to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are cognizant of the United Kingdom Modern Slavery Act of 2015 and wholly support its objectives. We ensure the principles outlined therein are reflected in our business conduct.
Commitment to a Supply Chain Free from Slavery and Human Trafficking
FundBank strongly condemns slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to implementing and enforcing systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not occurring anywhere within our business or supply chain. We expect our vendors and suppliers to uphold the same standards, and we review these entities to ensure their practices align with our ethical stance. Any violation of our expectations will lead to the termination of our relationship with the supplier or vendor involved.
We also take steps to ensure our investments and financial activities do not indirectly support businesses involved in modern slavery or human trafficking. In keeping with responsible investing principles, we incorporate rigorous due diligence processes to ensure we only engage with entities that share our commitment to human rights.
Employee Training
Understanding the critical role of our staff in maintaining our ethical stance, FundBank provides comprehensive training on modern slavery and human trafficking to our employees. This training is part of our induction process, ensuring that all employees know and understand the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.
Our training programs reinforce our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking are not occurring.
Management and Board Review
We remain committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking, continually reviewing and updating our policies and processes to meet this vital objective.
This voluntary statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. It constitutes FundBank’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year.
This statement was approved by FundBank and will be reviewed annually or as required.
