As Vice President, Risk at FundBank. Yeaneka has significant experience working within the finance industry with a strong compliance focus and has a proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining risk and compliance programmes, sanction framework, and the implementation of enterprise-wide Business Risk Assessment, and AML/CFT Risk Assessment. In addition, Yeaneka acts in the capacity of an AMLCO, MLRO and DMLRO both for regulated companies under the Bank and Trust Company Act, the Mutual Funds Act, and the Private Funds Act.
In this role, Yeaneka supports the regulatory business requirements and compliance framework and is responsible for the design, implementation and testing of policies, internal controls, and operating procedures.
Professional & academic credentials
Yeaneka holds a Master’s of Business Administration (Finance, and International Business) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial and Managerial Accounting, both from the University of New Orleans. In addition, Yeaneka is a certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS).
Experience
Prior to joining FundBank, Yeaneka spent over 15 years in the financial services industry in the Cayman Islands, where she has worked as a Compliance Manager and MLRO with Asset Managers, Fund Managers, Bank and Trust Companies and Law Firm.
